Irradiated Referee Pages

Welcome to the first product of the Wastelands of High Radiation! The Irradiated Reference Pages, Volume 1, is a 16-page document full of generators, spark tables, and ideas for your gamma-irradiated, post-apocalyptic games and settings.

The base assumptions of the Wastelands of High Radiation and of this product is that it is a post nuclear holocaust / post apocalyptic setting where the world went up in atomic flames, burning the society and world of the ancients with it. The destuction, though, was not wholly thorough, as ruins and wreckage abound. It has been a couple hundred years since the atomic bombs went off, and it has taken that long for the inhabitants of that world to scratch back out of the dirt their existence and survival. Pure humans, mutant humanoids, mutant animals, & cyborgs live along side each other (often with great friction) as well as Engimatic Coalitions, both ancient and new Coalitions with their own secretive and not so secretive agendas. All that said, there is an air of humor about this setting. It is not one of grim dark sadness. Though, it is not one of silly gonzo-ness. The humor stands out because it is not commonplace, yet not too rare. Popular video game series should inform the consumer of this product. It is designed with the 1978 gamma-irradiated science-fantasy roleplaying game (or the 2nd edition, which is very similar), but can work very well with any other system of play. The only specifics are the poison intensity tables, but use them however you may.

I hope you find use with this supplement. Volume 2 very well may take us to the stars aboard a certain generation ship that has been lost since, oh, 1976 or so!
